Golden Goose presents the collaboration with the South Korean K-Pop Artist
The ‘HAUS of Dreamers’ project, a global platform for culture and the free expression of the creativity of the community created by the Golden Goose brand, is enriched by the collaboration with the artist SUNMI which in August resulted in a collection also including a sneaker. The event in Venice that accompanied the launch of these products, available from the 29th of August on the Golden Goose website and in some selected international stores, followed other similar initiatives involving multifaceted artists such as Fabio Novembre, Quannah Chasinghorse, Dr. Woo, and which will end with the Suki Waterhouse capsule collection. The brand asked each artist to reinterpret classic Venetian icons, creating unique limited edition collections, consisting of a shoe, a ready-to-wear garment, and an object linked to their Venetian experience. For SUNMI the object was a mask, made of paper and embellished with Swarovski crystals reminiscent of those used for Venetian masked balls.
As for the sneaker, the ‘Marathon’ model has a cream-colored Nappa leather upper with silver ripstop, red glitter details and lurex laces. Featuring the aesthetic of 1970s athletic pieces, this genderless style seamlessly blends a vintage attitude with cutting-edge elements, such as the 3D printed stabiliser.
