Après ski and its fashion variants

At the beginning it was trekking shoes and hiking boots that descended from the mountain into the city, amplifying the hiking look also for everyday life. This winter, after-ski arrives directly from the high peaks down to low altitudes, declining in many variations a truly historical, iconic model; the Moon Boot, conceived and created by the Venetian company Tecnica, which was inspired by the footwear of the astronauts in the historical moon landing.

Between collabs of fashion brands with Moon Boot or free interpretations of après-ski looks, these waterproof, warm, padded, and comfortable shoes are very “Instagrammed” on social networks and can be seen on celebs’ feet in the snow, but not only. Furthermore, these models did not go unnoticed on the Autumn/Winter 22/23 catwalks and, from there, it was a short step to arrive in both men’s and women’s wardrobes. In smooth or quilted nylon to respect tradition, or in wool, sheepskin, and other materials, après-ski offers many alternatives to face the winter in maximum comfort.
