The new brand comes about from a collaboration between the famous tattoo artist and Kardif collective.
The point of departure is the tattoo, Alessandro Depase’s distinctive sign. The point of arrival is a shoe collection developed by Kardif collective, an incubator for ideas that blend the creative world and fashion. And it’s in the sole that you can see the influence of the Italian tattoo artist, which reproduces a number of his most famous tattoos.
“The realistic tattoo is an emotive, artistic and rebellious medium,” explained the creative team, “and the idea of transferring these emotions into a shoe represents a new challenge, but one that enables different models to be personalised with different designs.”
The brand, produced in the Lombardy and Marche regions of Italy, has debuted with sneakers, runners and slip-on moccasins for men and women, defined by a glam rock style, and metallic spikes and changeable accessories that look like piercings. Three types of sole – runner, simple box and faceted – characterise these models whose uppers are crafted from Nappa calf leather and suede and are enriched with technical fabric details.
