Loafers, derbies and oxfords for a first collection with British allure

Traditional men’s styles – Green George’s signature for over 50 years – embrace new bright shades and multi-coloured weaves for spring/summer 2024 collection. Thus Green George debuts in the women’s world with loafers, derbies and oxfords with a sober and somewhat British style. ‘These styles are part of our company’s DNA,’ explains Sofia Granatelli, ‘since its debut in 1971 in Montegranaro, continuing the tradition of craftsmanship typical of the Marche region. Expanding with a women’s collection was both a natural progression and the result of the incessant requests from our distribution partners. Fashion trends are on our side as loafers -our signature style – is drawing an ever-larger audience of female consumers, including very young ones’. From loafers with tassels or horsebit, to hand-woven slip-ons with multi-coloured or tone-on-tone leathers, the collection embraces a traditionally feminine style, including more rigorous models as well, such as the two-tone college, the derby and the oxford, which are the brand’s most iconic shoes.
