They look the same as last season, but the hues have changed

From ‘Very Peri’, the colour of the year according to Pantone, a shade of periwinkle blue with a purple-red undertone that is not easy to reproduce on leather and materials, to pastel shades or more decisive tones, summer is tinged with colour in clothing and accessories. If they look the same as last summer’s season, which had already given way to an explosion of colours as a reaction to the pandemic, this year is still an alternation of warm (red, orange, and yellow) and cold (green, blue, and purple) shades in all their nuances. As such, we see acid green, lime yellow, candy pink, sky blue, and bold orange.

Bright pink stands out above all, which immediately attracted attention thanks to the all-fuchsia Valentino show (and not the legendary red of the Maison), even if the collection is for autumn-winter 22/23. The media coverage of the event immediately brought total pink into the spotlight, also worn by guest star Zendaya who was sitting in the audience of the catwalk in Paris. A rigorously fuchsia outfit from head to toe, where shoes with huge wedges stood out, one of the most spot-on themes of this and next season.
