The iconic Golden Goose model is embellished with Swarovski crystals

The partnership between Golden Goose and Swarovski Creators Lab gives rise to a limited edition that makes the Super-Star model of the ‘Made in Italy’ sneaker brand shine. Inspired by the Californian skate world of Los Angeles, the Super-Star for the upcoming holidays has been transformed and lit up with crystals. The pink model is handcrafted in suede with a white leather star, ice-coloured suede heels and inserts, and all-over pink crystals. The same characteristics define the other model, which stands out for its transparent crystals. Alongside the shoes, there is also a skateboard – a real collector’s item – with both logos and a riot of transparent, grey and black crystals. Launched in early December, the Golden Goose series for Swarovski Creators Lab is limited to just 100 pairs in the pink version and 250 pairs in the white one, while only 10 skateboards have been made. These products can be found online and in selected Swarovski and Golden Goose stores. It is not the first time that Swarovski Creators Lab, an incubator platform for original and limited-edition collectibles, has created products as part of a collaboration with other brands; among the best known, the Aquazzura sandals, the Judith Leiber bags, the Nike sneakers, the FAO Schwarz nutcracker, and the basketball embellished with crystals with the Street Market clothing brand.
