The brand debuted at the last Milan fashion week
Selected by the National Chamber of Italian Fashion for the Fashion Hub set up at the ADI Design Museum during the last event in Milan, Runway Reinvented was born in 2018 from the union of Marco Vinto and Neha Poorswani of Indian origin, who are in charge of the creative direction of the brand. The starting point of the collection is the footwear, produced in Tuscany, later complementing the accessories with clothing. Like all young brands, created by the new generations, Runway Reinvented was born with a green soul, with a focus on minimising waste and favouring the circular economy. In fact, the shoes are produced with scraps of leathers that have small, almost imperceptible defects and with recycled materials such as satin. The mood of the collection? “Fun, romantic and kitsch” – explains Neha – “that, is models with fun details and bright colours, inspired by Indian tradition, romantic because they are feminine and kitsch due to the mix of materials and often contrasting elements”.
