Ferragamo’s sneaker made with regenerated materials

Looking to the past, where Ferragamo has its roots in the artisan tradition, and making a commitment today, where fashion supports green and responsible values: under these conditions, a new sneaker model is born – light, comfortable, and gender-neutral. And with environmentally friendly materials. The upper, in fact, is made in Econyl®, a fibre that is regenerated from nylon waste such as fishing nets. The suede inserts come from processing waste resulting from a production process with reduced carbon emissions. The sewing thread is in 100% post-consumer recycled polyester and Strobel felt, which contains pre-consumer recycled polyester fibres. The vintage style is most evident, among the different versions of the shoe, in the model with the coloured striped sole, reminiscent of the colours of the rainbow, and in the model with the all-over Gancini pattern.
