The video project launched by Ricagno during the lockdown tells the story of Italian women’s creativity

Foreign but with an Italian heart and, above all, an Italian production: this is the case of the Argentine designer Fabiana Ricagno (see also our article) who recently created her own ‘Made in Italy’ footwear brand, accompanied by the ‘Italians with an accent #proudlymadeinitaly’ project, launched on the digital platform in April and concluding last week.

A sort of choral diary where women, including Maria Vittoria Cusumano (entrepreneur and influencer based in NY), Alessandra Valenti (dancer and choreographer), Elisabetta Pellini (actress), Giulia Masla (founder and CEO of GM/PR), Beatrice Rossaro (CNMI press office manager), and Giorgia Lucini (beauty influencer), tell their story from the past to the present, trying to imagine the immediate future and how you can start over, through creativity. These are values shared by the designer herself whose real debut coincides with the F/W 2020/21 collection.

Furthermore, last February Ricagno also signed a partnership with ‘Piazza Sempione’ – an Italian brand that has always been synonymous with quality, innovation and elegance – for some models to be created ad hoc, which will be sold exclusively in their Milan and Rome boutiques.
