Alessandra Balbi draws inspiration from the world of art, architecture and design

Founded in 2017, the brand immediately became known for its attention to detail and high-quality materials. The decision to turn to the world of art, architecture and design for inspiration speaks of the designer’s multi-disciplinary background: she graduated in architecture at the Milan Polytechnic University, Economics at the University of Siena and Footwear at London College of Fashion.

After many years’ experience working as a designer and interior architect, Alessandra Balbi’s passion for footwear led her to create her own brand, which has found the perfect equilibrium between proportions, materials and constructions, which are entrusted to the mastery of artisans based in the Riviera del Brenta.

The spring/summer 2021 collection is inspired by optical art created by Argentinian artist Julio Le Parc. His multi-coloured stripes and curves are featured on flat sandals, sling-backs and boots, a personal interpretation of the chromatic effects defining South America.

These feminine shoes are sensualised with straps enveloping the ankles and small ruffle details: a mood that embraces classicism and modernism in products that are destined to last.
