No double entendre.

We are referring to the shoes that go with Alitalia’s new uniform, restyled after twenty years and presented, no less, with a catwalk show in Rome and Milan and modelled by male and female Alitalia cabin crew and ground staff.

The shoe collection was designed by independent haute couturier Ettore Bilotta to interpret the spirit of renewal pervading the new Alitalia, which aims at achieving all-round excellence, not only in its services but also in its uniforms, made in Italy’s manufacturing districts. The shoes – burgundy and green for female crew – are made in the Marche region while men’s uniforms are tailored in Puglia and gloves in Naples; fabrics are made in Tuscany and silk in Como.

Inspired by the glamorous ‘50s and ‘60s, the new elegant uniforms have clean, austere lines and a stylish tasteful look that reconcile Italian glamour with the taste of Alitalia’s Arab partners.
