The Club x Lovers by Cuoio di Toscana

During Pitti Uomo, the Club x Lovers space designed by Cuoio di Toscana (Tuscan Leather) was inaugurated at Palazzo Strozzi to allow visitors to savour a lifestyle that revolves around leather – through walls, counters, and tables made of this natural vegetable-tanned, stain-resistant, and scratchproof material. During the inauguration inside the Strozzi Bistrot, the guests (including Filippo Magnini and Giorgia dei Manitoba) were able to participate in a journey that involved all 5 senses, immersing themselves not only in notes of tannins, but also in refined perfumes and home fragrances.

If the Parfumèide x Cuoio di Toscana collaboration created an olfactory experience, there were also contaminations with other worlds: the DJ and producer Marvely unveiled the brand new Sounds of Cuoio di Toscana, the chef Cristiano Tomei prepared a ‘showcooking’ with mimosa risotto served on chestnut bark, the mixologist Tripstillery created bitters obtained from a mix of quebracho, chestnut, and mimosa woods. Pitti Uomo was also an opportunity to renew commitment to sustainability by the Cuoio di Toscana consortium, chaired by Antonio Quirici, through support for young talents. Binding themselves to the Pitti Uomo S/STYLE green project presented at the Fortezza, the designers chose to wear the special footwear capsule to the event – with its green sole that is 100% eco-sustainable and acts as a manifesto of the Consortium’s green values.
