A few days ago Sarah Jessica Parker, the star of the cult tv series Sex and the City, posted a photo on Instagram (where she goes by her initials @SJP in which we can see the legs of a woman who is sitting on some stairs with a hat next to her and a pair of shiny silver shoes on her feet. The picture is accompanied by a brief text, in keeping with social network communication protocols: “Well my bags are packed and I’m ready to go” x, sj.

But when your name is Sarah Jessica Parker and you have almost 3 million followers and are always in the spotlight, as a result also of her appearing in a new tv series (<em>Divorce</em>, that is produced by HBO and will soon be aired in Italy – 30 November on Sky Atlantic) even this apparently commonplace activity — taking a picture and posting it on Instagram — is certain to be “dissected” and analysed in minute detail.

And that’s exactly what happened: one of the many paparazzi caught the actress “in the act” and took a series of photos of her in the process of taking the selfie (or rather the shoelfie) of her shoes, that just so happens to be part of the line she designed herself.
