At a historic, prestigious address, San Marco 1236, in the heart of Venice, equally historic and prestigious Italian brand Ballin has just opened its 20th flagship store, in addition to numerous other single-brand stores and about 250 multi-brand stores all over the world selling shoes made in the workshop in Fiesso d’Artico, on the banks of the Brenta, founded by brothers Guido and Giorgio Ballin in 1945.
Designed by Milanese architectural studio ITI Studio which also came up with the concept for the boutiques in Milan, Hong Kong and Almaty, in Kazakhstan), the new Ballin store covers a 60 sqm area, characterised by illuminated niches, colour contrasts and light effects inspired by the Venice lagoon.
The opening on September 5 coincides with the 73rd Venice International Film Festival.
