In the run-up to Christmas, one of the traditions is to buy those CDs packed with great Christmas classics sung and rearranged by the famous voices of easy listening music.

Elvis did it, Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Dean Martin did it in the golden years of the Rat Pack, Wham did it in the ‘80s, Mariah Carey, in the ‘90s, and then Céline Dion, Whitney Huston, Michael Bublé, Christina Aguilera, Andrea Bocelli, Mario Biondi…

This year, many people’s stereos, MP3 players and smartphones will be playing Laura Xmas, Laura Pausini’s latest release, in shops and at online stores from November 4. The CD was recorded with the Patrick Williams Orchestra, founded by the legendary film music composer with numerous Oscar and Grammy Award nominations under his belt.

The album contains twelve songs, all of which Christmas classics, nine sung in English, two in Spanish and one in Italian (Silent Night).

The fairy-tale cover features an eye-catching pair of jewel-embellished shoes in white satin with stiletto heels and hand-applied Swarovski crystals, handcrafted by one of the most prestigious Italian-made brands: Loriblu.
