Ennio Capasa is back on the scene, after a break following the sale of Costume National to a Japanese group, with the new Capasa Milano brand that will debut at the upcoming Milan fashion week. The footwear license is entrusted to the ‘Him Co (High Italian Manufacturing)’ Group, born from the acquisition by the Italian management of the industrial companies belonging to the former Onward Luxury Group. Thus, it will be ‘Made in Italy’ production for the Capasa Milano footwear line which incorporates the designer’s style: minimal, but open to the contamination between technology and manufacturing tradition. The end goal is to offer current products that are destined to last, developed in limited series and with regular releases. “Less, but better” – said Ennio Capasa – “scarcity rather than excess supply: the opposite of disposable”.
