Grisport was founded by brothers Graziano and Mario Grigolato in 1977, in the town of Castelcucco, in the province of Treviso, as a company specialising in trekking shoes, and established itself as a global leader in the sector.

Over the years the company has maintained its core business, while also adding a line of safety shoes and a leisure line. Its production is entirely Made in Italy, it has a workforce of more than 230 employees, is extremely sensitive to environmental issues and the variety of patents it has acquired over the years demonstrates its commitment to research on technologies and materials. Moreover, the bulk of the company’s turnover comes from foreign markets (international sales currently make up 75% of total turnover but the figure is still rising).

To add to the number of goals reached by the brand, there is also the Outdoor Footwear Brand of the Year award it received during the 2016 Footwear Industry Awards.
One of the major novelties for next season, however, relates to leisure footwear, as the women’s line marks a foray into the fashion world.

Indeed, for autumn-winter 2016/17 Grisport has launched Elite, a casual-chic collection that combines technologies and comfort that the company’s experience in trekking and safety has adapted to loafers, ankle boots, derby shoes in patent and metallized leather and studded sneakers.
