From February to March 2021: yet again exhibition events have acted in unity to honour the #strongertogether format, setting their dates back by a month. From 20th to 24th March Fieramilano Rho will become the fashion hub, with Homi Fashion&Jewels Exhibition from 20th to 22nd March, Micam Milano (footwear), Mipel (leather goods) and TheONE Milano (clothing) from 21st to 23rd, along with Lineapelle on 23rd and 24th March. In September, despite Covid restrictions, these exhibitions welcomed 16,000 visitors, a quarter of whom were from abroad, proof of the resilience of companies and the strategic role played by trade fair events. Events rescheduled for March will be held in accordance with stringent safety rules and in compliance with current legislation, thanks to an organisational upgrading of the Fieramilano Rho trade fair centre, which has adopted all measures required to ensure safety at hosted events and further refined its visitor flow management guidelines. The organisers are already working on intercepting and selecting buyers with even greater precision thanks to support from MISE (Italy’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and the Italian Trade Agency, whose support has always been essential.

These will not be the only exhibitions to be rescheduled in the first half of 2021. The menswear, childrenswear and yarn exhibitions of Pitti Immagine will take place simultaneously in Florence at Fortezza da Basso and Stazione Leopolda from 21st to 23rd February, 5 weeks later than its traditional January slots. Therefore these events have been moved to the run-up of Milan shows scheduled from 23rd February to 1st March. Naturally all necessary safety measures will also be adopted in Florence.
