From Tuscany to the world: D.A.T.E. sneakers, a brand founded in 2005 by four Tuscan friends, has conquered South Korea with three new single-brand spaces in Seoul, a flagship store in the Lotte Main mall, a corner in the Shinsegae Gangnam department store, and a second corner in the Shinsegae department store in Busan. On top of these, two further single-brand stores will be added by the end of 2020, thus strengthening the brand’s presence in the Asian market, which is key for the company.

The strategy is paying off, despite the fact that it goes against the current trend: “If on the one hand the health emergency has slowed down the market, on the other hand, travel restrictions have favoured and pushed domestic shopping throughout the continent”, explains Tommaso Santoni, co-founder and CEO of the brand.

Product-wise, new models have been created based on the concepts of recycling and sustainability: the D.A.T.E. Newman Eco Leather line. It is available for men and women and embraces a simple style, without being a lesser expression of the values of ‘Made in Italy’.
