A journey through fashion that ends with the creation of clothing and, for the first time, of sneakers

From the face of campaigns of famous brands, to a model on the catwalks of New York, London, Paris, and the international fashion capitals, for Marco Castelli it was a short step. And he did not stop there, because of his all-round passion: from “interpreter” of the garments in the role of wearer, he was pushed to become the star of clothing collections that bear his name. Thus, were born clothes that are made to order and, of course, are ‘Made in Italy’ – appreciated by members of the royal family of Qatar and international pop stars. To complete the total look, however, an important puzzle piece was still missing: a footwear project. Therefore, Marco involved two professional friends from the sector, Alessandro Garaventa and Livio Pirotti, to complete his brand with sneakers. Always with attention to detail and quality, which are the common thread in all of his lifestyle collections.
The sneakers, in both a lace-up and slip-on version, have a box sole with rubber inserts, a soft and foldable heel, and a full-grain leather upper. Production is carried out in the Marche by an artisan company that also collaborates with luxury brands. The debut of the footwear line took place in June between Milan and Florence and the first collection starts with spring-summer 2023. Marco Castelli’s journey is certainly unusual and is not to be taken for granted in the world of fashion, which led him as a model to collaborate with important fashion houses, such as Cartier and Chanel, who first chose him as a face, then as an ambassador, to share his taste and style in the design of their products.
