At the Teatro Massimo: the catwalk of the new collection and polo shirts inspired by the island

The catwalk on the 27th of September at the Teatro Massimo in Palermo was a tribute to Sicily and its beauties. La Martina is an Argentine brand born in Buenos Aires in 1985, but known all over the world for its ready-to-wear collections inspired by polo shirts (the shoes are produced in the Marche by the Giano shoe factory) and for its partnerships and collaborations with important Ivy League universities (Harvard and Yale) and UK schools (Eton, Cambridge and Oxford).

Sicily is part of the company’s commercial development plan which opened new ‘sell corners’ in Palermo and Catania. It is therefore inevitable that they decided to dedicate a special edition of polo shirts to the island, precisely “La Martina loves Sicily”, which was shown together with the main collection. The majestic staircase of the Teatro Massimo in Palermo, the largest opera house in Italy and the third largest in Europe, frames the setting. The show was guaranteed to be spectacular!
