Two brands united by ‘Made in Italy’ and timeless beauty
[On the cover: Alfa Romeo Giulietta and Velasca shoes]
What do Velasca – which produces shoes according to the canons of beauty and well-crafted design – and Alfa Romeo – the historic car brand – have in common? Their values include ‘Made in Italy’, timeless style, beauty, tradition, and design. From this affinity, a collaboration is born, culminating in the Giulietta and Duetto shoes. The two models, already part of the Velasca catalogue, are updated with details and customisations in line with the Alfa Romeo style: a sole made of para for comfortable driving, the double logo of the two brands, and colours and stitching that recall the shades of the historic car manufacturer. Men’s suede shoes combine the quality and comfort typical of ‘Made in Italy’ and pay homage to the Giulietta Sprint of 1955 and the Duetto of 1969, two iconic cars with different connotations: the first embodies the former combination of sportiness and elegance, the second a more classic style.

Even the packaging is in line with the history and the peculiarities of the two brands: the box has a green base from Alfa Romeo palettes, the logo is in white, and the “carriageway” lines are in red and white. Furthermore, to embrace an increasingly sustainable design, the base of the box is made of Kraft Havana paper, while the shoes are sold in a cotton bag with white print and red laces and stitching. The collection is available on the Velasca website and in the men’s shops.
