‘Breaking the line’ is the motto of the new brand inspired by the audacious British admiral.

The new George Brydges brand represents a combination of British inspiration and Italian manufacturing expertise. Production takes place in the Riviera del Brenta, the cradle of Italian shoe manufacturing, where the historic workshops of the “calegheri” [cobblers] have been replaced today by high-quality industrial production.

Debuting with its spring/summer 2019 collection for men and women, the brand takes its name from the renowned British admiral, a complex and controversial figure who demonstrated great ability as a naval commander and gained a position of considerable prestige in his homeland.
An original and unconventional character who epitomises the spirit of the brand, which offers unusual constructions and combinations: loafers with stitched welts, sneakers with loafer-type soles, wingtip lace-ups with soles that appear to be heavy but are actually super-light.
