The men’s and women’s line, created by the Catalan driver, is produced in Italy
Motorcycling and fashion: these are the passions of the Catalan driver Toni Elias. The first took him to the podium of the Moto2 world championship in 2010 and to the top of the MotoAmerica Superbike championship in 2017. The second prompted him, together with his sister Laura, to create a footwear line that made its debut at Pitti Uomo. The Elias024 collection is ‘Made in Italy’ because “Italy is the archetypal country for footwear excellence” – explains the driver, CEO, and creative director of the brand – “and the quality, materials, passion and love that go into Italian footwear are recognised all over the world”. Growing up among motorcycles, leather suits and performance clothing, it was natural to create leather footwear, both for men and women, with sporty details such as rubber pads for a racing touch that also appear on ankle boots and high-heeled boots. As for colours, they use 11 variations, from the classic white or black, to more decisive ones such as neon yellow and purple. And who knows, maybe the number 24 will be as successful in fashion as it was in motorcycle races!
