The company celebrated its anniversary during fashion week

Welcoming guests to Palazzo Isimbardi during fashion week is a giant reproduction of the Brera loafer, a model with bows embodying the Fratelli Rossetti brand, a mix of heritage and innovation, of seasonal trends and traditional craftsmanship. ‘Our know-how and our passion for footwear – handed down to us by our father Renzo – have made us known all over the world,’ points out President Diego Rossetti, who runs the company together with his brothers Dario and Luca.  Without our past, we can’t build our future – which needs to take into account new technologies, especially when it comes to data management, warehouse efficiency and a greater inclusion of retail’. Past and future also take turns in the visual display: a small exhibition of archive pieces can be found next to the S/S 2024 collection, which includes a ‘pixelated’ version of the Brera loafer first weaved by hand and then printed on the upper, the Hobo slipper with embroidered geometric motifs, and the Magenta sandals in bright shades. Inside the showcases are the 1950 skate, the Brera loafer from 1968, the sockless Yacht from 1970, the Magenta boot from 1975, the Hobo slipper from 2010 up to the Brera 2023 designed just for the anniversary. A story covering the brand’s 70 years and rooted in the founder’s passion for sport: he started out making soft, lightweight shoes for professional athletes and signed his first models under the Rossetti Yankee brand name.
