The hallmark of the Judith Saint Jermain brand created by an Italian-Haitian designer

Judith Borsetto, an Italian-Haitian designer, presents her work for the second time at the Camera Moda Fashion Hub, loves ‘Made in Italy’ and shows it with her accessories brand Judith Saint Jermain: a synthesis of quality, research, and refinement. An alchemy of style and know-how that found its productive hub in the districts of Venice and Pisa. For Fall-Winter 2022/23, the designer named her collection ‘Rialto’, with an explicit reference to Venice and its plague doctor legend: beaked-mask, leather gloves, and coats all in an attempt to ward off the disease. As such, angular and decisive lines characterise her shoes with a square toe, while black is the protagonist accompanied by sporadic hints of off-white and turquoise. The hallmark of the brand is the embroidery that emphasises the toes of both knee-high and ankle boots, draws details on the high-heeled pump with its metal stiletto heel, and follows the contours of the bags. The materials chosen are Nappa leather, pony skin, and jacquard knits, the same are used for clothing and for socks to be worn with the shoes as if they were anklets.
