NabaxBaldinini is the capsule collection customised by the students of the Milanese Academy

Creativity has no limits, especially when it comes from young people from excellent art, fashion, and design schools, left free to interpret a product. From the meeting between the students of Naba, the New Academy of Fine Arts in Milan, and the Baldinini brand, a capsule collection was born which was the star of a live art performance in the company’s via Spiga store during fashion week. In the spotlight are the ACBCxBaldinini sneaker models, made with responsible and certified materials, pre- and post-consumer recycled and bio-based. “The collaboration with ACBC has reached its second collection” – explains CEO Christian Prazzoli – “supporting our sensitivity towards a circular economy and products that are increasingly close to the environment. The market has proved us right in our choice, with excellent feedback both on the wholesale front and from end consumers. This time, however, we went further and wanted to enhance the talent of the young people who interpreted and customised some of the models, which will be auctioned off. It is important that a company with a 110-year heritage looks to young people who are the future of our fashion system and their contribution, as well as their vision, is a source of continuous inspiration and updating”.

The Milan event was also the opportunity for the presentation of the S/S 2024 collection which places emphasis on the ‘B’ monogram which becomes an accessory with a metallic, lacquered, and rubberised finish. Touches of light illuminate the mesh sandals with the “snake chain” accessory that recalls a model from the 2000s.
