Studs, rivets, chains: footwear with a strong character for him and for her

[On the cover: Giuseppe Zanotti and Marni FW2223 fashion shows]

To fight minimalism and understatement, what could be more rock than a pair of shoes given some grit through the use of studs, chains, and rivets? And we’re not just talking about army and combat boots, also known as a synonym of rock par excellence and the non-conformity of punk, but also of pumps, lace-ups for him and her, and sneakers contaminated by avantgarde details. It is our intention to go beyond the mood that had become popular in the late 1970s, marked by concerts that made music history, as well as inspiring clothing.  For these models, black is still the star of the show in the Autumn-Winter footwear collections of 2022/2023 which unite flair in the decorations of the ultralight uppers for a new rock in pursuit of comfort.

Marni – Silver pumps with maxi metal spikes

AGL – Lace-ups enriched by micro studs and maxi crystals which give a traditionally boyish model light and femininity
