Let’s Dance combines lightness with comfort, colour and details inspired by the archives

Ferragamo has chosen dance to express the current state of mind, a desire for lightness and movement, for elegance and grace, values personified by the great Carla Fracci. The brand condenses the mood in the Let’s Dance capsule collection of women’s shoes, a blend of lightness and comfort featuring a variety of styles and designs all designed to offer new vitality and optimism. The line includes flats with a metal buckle and logo, lace-ups made of ultra-soft nappa leather with elastic inserts adding great flexibility, a moccasin featuring Gancini trim, a high-heeled or mid-heeled “refracted” sandal inspired by a style from the company’s archives with an upper made of interwoven strips of leather, a pump with a chunky heel and a laser-cut upper, and a soft nappa leather biker boot.

The launch of the capsule collection will be announced in a short film, a symbolic dialogue between dance and shoes directed by American director Danielle Lessovitz, among the best film directors at the 2019 Cannes Festival. The professional dancers featured include Anita Lorusso, Naomi Weijand and Tania Dimbelolo, incarnating the spirit of today’s women. Let’s Dance will also be a true dance challenge targeting the Ferragamo community: the brand’s new TikTok channel will be launched with the Ferragamo Dance Challenge.

The capsule collection is available starting in mid-June in Ferragamo boutiques and on the company’s web site.
