LuisaViaRoma was an e-commerce and multi-channel pioneer. Its CEO, Andrea Panconesi, has always been one step ahead: over the years, he invested in new forms of communication to transform the Florence shop into an international reference point for fashion and more.

To celebrate this milestone, 1000 copies of the book LuisaViaRoma – Window To a Future Fashion World have been published by Rizzoli New York. The book traces the shop’s history through images of its shopwindows, all of which are true works of art. The presentation of the book was the first part of an event held at the end of August in Capri, culminating in a charity evening for Unicef during which over one million Euros were raised to support the Covid-19 emergency.

In the book, the author Cesare Cunaccia accompanies the reader through the shop’s history, from its beginnings as a small boutique selling hats in Via Roma, to becoming an international presence in the world of fashion and luxury.

“The Florence shop represents our window to the city where it all started for my family” -said Andrea Panconesi – “whereas, is now our window to the world of the future”.

The book is a sustainable project: each copy is made with FSC sustainable paper. For each copy of the book, a tree will be planted in collaboration with Treedom, the online platform that encourages the conscious use of online resources to create a sustainable ecosystem.
