Unlined and lightweight, the moccasin is the passe-partout shoe for men
[On the cover: Prada SS2020]
Whether they be sporty or classic, refined or relaxed, with a leather sole or with a rubber sole, moccasins are the timeless shoe par excellence. This summer, they are shedding some weight with light materials.
Unlined calf leather, suede or deerskin, which is often perforated or woven, rough fabrics, natural and warm colours define these models which are designed to be worn at all occasions, with all looks, even Bermuda shorts, and with or without socks. The timeless shoe – whose heyday dates back to the 1930s – continues its presence through the generations, thanks to its versatility and comfort. The Carshoe version, patented in the 1960s, is a constant fixture in men’s wardrobes: faithful to the original model’s construction, its materials are updated season after season.
