Lotto Sport Italia starts in the world of football with the ‘Stadio Gold 50 Years’ model
Fifty years deserve to be celebrated in the history of a company that has dedicated know-how, passion, and research to the world of sport. This is how Lotto Sport Italia celebrates half a century of footwear this year with four models that will be unveiled over the course of the year, enhancing the brand’s heritage and paying homage to the champions who wore them. We start with the ‘Stadio Gold 50 Years’ model, of which only 500 versions will be produced, the shoe worn by great footballers including Andriy Shevchenko (Golden Ball 2004), Cafù (twice world champion), and Carlo Ancelotti (winner of the Champions League, both as a player and then as a coach). The re-edition had to be a hard-hitter, in a mix of gold and black for the leather upper, with a galvanised sole and printed graphics, personalised by the shiny lozenge shape, Italian fabric flags sewn on the back, and a lasered logo. A special celebratory packaging envelopes the shoe that will have to win the hearts of collectors and fans alike. The limited edition is available online from the 31st of May and in the main football e-tailers, while stocks last. The Montebelluna-based company will subsequently present three other celebratory models: two versions of football boots, of which the new edition of the ‘Zhero Gravity’, a model patented in 2006, and a vintage version of a model inspired by tennis, another sport in which Lotto has linked its name to prominent athletes.
