A shoe for any time of day in all seasons; a precious designer accessory by night.

In summer, naturally, but in winter too, these days: the sandal has a thousand different faces and is reinvented with every season, changing its skin like a chameleon to go with any fashion look. Because while it’s natural to wear sandals at night, it may not seem so in the daytime. But flat sandals can be worn with thick winter socks and stockings, as we have seen in the fashion shows, to offer an alternative to boots, ankle boots and pumps during the day.

It is on special occasions, however, that the sandal really comes into its own, and this type of shoe preferred by the celebrities treading the world’s red carpets reveals the master craftsmanship typical of Italian footwear. Dizzyingly high or medium heels are lit up at night with attention-grabbing dazzling decorations, but can also be discrete, minimising the presence of straps and even making them invisible with vinyl.
