The brand “IlCentimetro” was born in 2012, back then it produced bracelets which stand out thanks to the use of tailor’s measuring tape – which become the symbol of their wrist accessories and that, nowadays, are available in various materials.
In 2018, this creative idea was also applied to footwear, both for the Spring/Summer 2019 collection and for the Autumn/Winter one. Sneakers that are made in Italy with quality materials that, as explained by Simone Moretti – the co-founder of the brand – “were born with the goal of pushing the brand into new market segments, always proposing a product with a touch of craftsmanship”.
They come, of course, always with the measuring tape detail either spray-painted or in 3D on the leather upper. The sneaker comes in the colour palette of yellow, black and white – in a colour block or two-tone version. The laces and the measuring tape images come in bordeaux red, blue and dark green, on the total-white sneakers. “In the launch campaign for the Spring/Summer 2019 collection, sneakers become the symbol of an unmeasurable style” – continues Moretti – “Not a simple unit of measurement, but a subjective concept of measuring time where the metre of judgment is distorted by the brand with an irreverent, pop tone”.
