The strong point of this all-round business project is total control of all its production in Arcevia, Ancona.
“This allows us to produce a top quality product with a lot of style that is also sustainable and produced by ethical labour, characteristics of primary importance for the market we serve and the type of consumer who buys our products,” explains Vic Matié brand manager and art director Silvia Curzi.
The Vic Matié men’s collection for fall/winter 2019/20 includes four lines organised by theme.
The Casual Formal line includes buckle shoes and boots in various different hides, with natural or polished finishes, characterised by rubber lug soles. The trainers, sneakers and basketball shoes in the Sports line are made of nappa and nylon, with an elasticised “sock” upper reinforced with heat-sealed technical rubber along with moulding and supports made of high-tech materials. The Work Industrial line features big rubber soles and chunky volumes in army boots, beatle boots and trekking shoes made of split-grain leather and hides with polished and raw finishes. Lastly, the Modern Dandy line includes beatle boots, loafers and classic men’s lace-ups with a tapered shape made of split-grain leather and nappa leather, with a light, flexible leather sole.
