Habbot’s Italian-made shoes are crafted by shoemakers in Campania

She started working in the London offices of e-commerce giant Net-a-porter and then returned to her native Australia to work on corporate strategy and then on product development for a footwear company. Here Annie Abbott started dreaming of her own brand, a dream that came true when she launched Habbot in 2011.

“I have always found this kind of style and quality in international luxury brands,” explains the designer, talking about the kind of shoe she makes, “a kind of luxury that is, however, sometimes hard to justify. Habbot offers a new variety of options, an adventurous colour palette and surprising quality, so that women can invest in a pair of shoes for any season without giving up any other essential element of their wardrobe.”

In short, quality at an accessible price: this is the “secret recipe” of a brand that has chosen Italian leathers as its favourite material and makes all its shoes in Italy, where Annie has a team that works in close contact with shoemakers in Campania’s footwear district.
